A purpose-built resort, with hotels and apartments built in a blend of Moorish and Andalucian styles you have all the modern conveniences on your doorstep. Chic restaurants, shops and bars around the marina, a yacht club offering boat rental and jet ski and canoeing excursions as well as 18-hole golf course. Up at the attractive club house you'll find a golf school, golf shop, bar, restaurant, swimming pool and even two bowling greens overlooked by a lovely, relaxing terrace. So even if golf's not your bag, there's plenty alternatives.

Cross over the small bridge from Isla Canela into the pretty market town and fishing port of Ayamonte and you'll discover many more shop, bars and restaurants. Spend a leisurely evening sampling the catch of the day followed by a stroll along the palm lined Paseo de la Ribiera which skirts the bustling harbour. Salud!
